Sensex recovers partially; ITC gains 2%

The Sensex has once again recovered from lower levels and is now down 185 points at 8,655.
Mahindra & Mahindra has slumped 8% to Rs 250. Maruti and TCS have tumbled 5% each to Rs 461 and Rs 535, respectively.
Reliance has shed 4.5% at Rs 1,061. HDFC and Sterlite have plunged 4% each to Rs 1,379 and Rs 229, respectively.
Reliance Communications has dropped 3.5% to Rs 190. Tata Motors, Larsen & Toubro and Tata Steel have slipped over 3% each to Rs 129, Rs 681 and Rs 149, respectively.
SBI has declined 2.7% to Rs 1,028. ONGC and DLF are down 2.3% each at Rs 665 and Rs 174, respectively.

Reliance Infrastructure has surged 2% to Rs 477. ITC has moved up 1.7% to Rs 168, and Bharti Airtel has added 1.3% to Rs 660.
NTPC and Hindustan Unilever are up 1% each at Rs 158 and Rs 235, respectively.
Out of 2,013 stocks traded so far, 1,369 have declined, 579 have advanced and 65 are unchanged.
