Sensex steady; Maruti slips 4%

The NSE Nifty is up 33 points at 4,300.

Ranbaxy has gained 2.5% at Rs 527.

Reliance has rallied 2% to Rs 2,061. SBI has advanced 1.5% to Rs 1,223.

Jaiprakash Associates and NTPC are up 1% each at Rs 155 and Rs 164, respectively.

Maruti has dropped 3.7% to Rs 663. Grasim has slipped 1.5% to Rs 2,108.

ITC and Larsen & Toubro are down 1% each at Rs 193 and Rs 2,372, respectively.
