Sensex up 98pts; Reliance Infra surges 3.5%

The Sensex continues to trade in the red and is now up 98 points at 15,509.
Reliance Infrastructure has surged 3.5% to Rs 1,235. Sterlite, ICICI Bank and Jaiprakash Associates have added 3% each to Rs 723, Rs 772 and Rs 221, respectively.
Tata Steel has gained 2.5% at Rs 463. Tata Power and Reliance have advanced 2% each to Rs 1,217 and Rs 2,344, respectively. ITC, BHEL and TCS are also up.
Meanwhile, Mahindra & Mahindra has slipped 3.5% to Rs 787. ONGC, HDFC Bank, Hindustan Unilever, Wipro and Grasim have declined around 1% each.
The market breadth is fairly positive. Out of 2,169 stocks traded, 1,141 have advanced while 973 have declined.
