Silver futures for May moved down by Rs 225, or 0.56% to Rs 43,442 per kg in 2,005 lots.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the July contract declined by Rs 240, or 0.54% to Rs 44,175 per kg in 240 lots.

Weak global trend after data that showed China's manufacturing expanded at a slower pace, adding to concern that world's second-biggest economy is faltering affected the trade globally.
In Singapore, silver fell by 0.50% to $23.32 an ounce.
