Silver futures for May gained Rs 56, or 0.10%, to Rs 54,649 per kg in 2,301 lots.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the far-month July contract went up by Rs 56, or 0.09%, to Rs 55,936 per kg in 65 lots.

In Singapore, silver traded 0.1% higher at $29.00 an ounce.
