At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the May contract traded higher by Rs 359, or 0.81%, to Rs 44,900 per kg in business turnover of 77 lots.
The July contract traded Rs 342, or 0.77%, higher at Rs 44,975 per kg in a turnover of 1,768 lots.
In the international market, silver added 1.2%, to trade at $24.12 an ounce in Singapore.
Analysts said a firming trend in precious metals in the global market on optimism that global stimulus will be sustained, influenced silver prices at futures trade here.
