Sugar closes quiet on little doings

Quiet conditions developed in the wholesale sugar market at the national capital today on restricted buying against adequate stocks position.

Marketmen said small buying support and sufficient stocks poistion held sugar prices unaltered.

Following are today's rates in Rs per quintal:

Sugar ready M-30 2,800-2,910 and S-30 2,790-2,900

Mill delivery M-30 2,625-2,725 and S-30 2,600-2700

Sugar mill gate prices (excluding duty): Kinonni 2,825, Asmoli 2,800, Mawana 2,750, Titabi 2,740, Thanabhavan 2,730, Budhana 2,720 and Dorala 2,725.
