Sugar prices flat on some support

Quiet condition developed in the wholesale sugar market at national capital today on sporadic buying amid restricted supply.

Marketmen said small buying support against adequate stocks position kept sugar prices unaltered.

Following are today's rates in Rs per quintal:

Sugar ready M-30 2,950-3,050 and S-30 2,940-3,040.

Mill delivery M-30 2,780-3,000 and S-30 2,770-2990.

Sugar mill gate prices (excluding duty): Kinonni 3,060, Asmoli 3,070, Mawana 2,980, Titabi 2,970, Thanabhavan 2,950, Budhana 2,960 and Dorala 2,980.
