Suzlon surges on $45-million deal

Suzlon Energy shares surged 8.91 per cent to Rs 50.75 on news that the company’s US subsidiary signed a $45 million order with US-based Duke Energy to provide 20 units of the S88-2.1 MW wind turbine.

The stock made an intraday high of Rs 52 and a low of Rs 48 with trading volumes of 19.4 million shares.
