The Hang Seng is quoting at 20,859, down 153 points or 0.73% and the Nikkei is placed flat at 10,094. The Shanghai is quoting at 2,779, up 24 points or 0.9%.

The Taiwan is quoting at 7,509, up 79% or 1% and the Straits is quoting at 2,643, higher by 19 points or 0.73%.
