Zinc down 0.2% on sluggish demand
Metal for delivery in January fell by 0.24%

Zinc futures prices today edged lower by 0.28% to Rs 125.85 per kg largely in line with a weak trend at the spot markets due to sluggish demand and subdued trend overseas.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc for delivery in December fell by 35 paise, or 0.28%, to Rs 125.85 per kg, with a business turnover of 331 lots.
Likewise, the metal for delivery in January fell marginally by 30 paise, or 0.24%, to trade at Rs 126.65 per kg, with a business turnover of 11 lots.
Marketmen said sluggish domestic demand and metal's weakness at the London Metal Exchange, put pressure on zinc futures here.
