Zinc futures for June declined by 50 paise, or 0.49%, to Rs 102.45 per kg in 148 lots.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the May contract softened by 45 paise, or 0.44%, to Rs 101.30 per kg in 2,511 lots.

On the London Metal Exchange (LME), zinc dropped 0.4% to $1,888 a metric tonne.
