Zinc futures for April rose by 55 paise, or 0.53%, to Rs 104.55 per kg in 153 lots.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the March contract gained 45 paise, or 0.44%, at Rs 103.10 per kg in 153 lots.
Improved domestic demand due to speculators enlarging their positions supported the trade.
