Ten kilograms of Improvise Explosive Device (IED) was recovered from Sukma district on Friday during a joint security operation.
The joint security operation was mounted by the district police force and the paramiliary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
Law enforcement officials confirmed that the IED consignment has been defused.
