2013 IPS Trainees call on President Mukherjee

Officer trainees of the 2013 Batch of Indian Police Service, including 28 lady officers and 15 Officers from Bhutan, Nepal and Maldives undergoing training along with them called on President Mukherjee today.

Congratulating them on their success in one of the most difficult competitive examinations in the country and their joining the police service, President Mukherjee said society is undergoing major changes and they have a great chance to serve the society.

He said that they must equip themselves with knowledge and expertise to fight present day manifestations of crimes like terrorism and cyber crime.

The president reminded them of their important responsibility of maintaining law and order in the country and wished them success in their mission.
