35 Maharashtra MLAs call on PM Modi

Maharashtra Members of Legislative Assembly, including Speaker Haribhau Bagde, called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the national capital.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister highlighted the government's initiatives towards cooperative federalism to the 35 MLAs, also pointing out that the union budget has allocated 62 percent of its resources to state governments.

Prime Minister Modi also told the MLAs that the state governments would benefit from proceeds of the coal auctions and enhanced mineral royalties.
