Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Sunday said that the Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government has started working towards curbing crime against women in the city.

"People of Delhi have given a big mandate. The demand to free Delhi of crime against women is also a big reason behind this mandate. It is our responsibility and we have started working towards it," Sisodia said on Women's Day.

Women's Day is celebrated on March 8 every year. The day focuses on celebration of respect, appreciation and love towards women along with the celebration for women's economic, political, and social achievements.
