Actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's father Krishnaraj Rai, who had been in a critical state since the last couple of weeks, has passed away.
Krishnaraj, who was in the intensive care at the Lilavati hospital in Mumbai, succumbed to lymphoma, breathing his last at around 4 pm.
He was paid frequent visits by Aishwarya's in-laws Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan at the hospital.
Unlike every year, there was no grand Holi celebration by the Bachchan parivaar this year, keeping the stressful circumstances in mind.
On the work front, Amitabh will be seen in 'Sarkar 3' and it is rumoured that Abhishek and Aishwarya will be reuniting onscreen for Anurag Kashyap's next.
