Ajay Tyagi appointed as SEBI Chief
ACC, on Friday, approved the appointment of Ajay Tyagi as the new chief of Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
An IAS officer from the Himachal Pradesh cadre (1984-batch), Tyagi served as Additional Secretary for Economic Affairs in the Finance Ministry, since 2014.
Tyagi will be taking over from UK Sinha.
