Amanda Bynes' mum denies her daughter ever had mental illness

Amanda Bynes' mother Lynn Bynes has claimed that her daughter has never been diagnosed as schizophrenic or bipolar and she had no mental illness whatsoever.

The 'She's the Man' star's mum said in a statement that Amanda, who had called many celebs including singer Drake "ugly" on Twitter, feels very sorry for all the hurtful tweets, statements and actions, Us Magazine reported.

Lynn also blamed marijuana for her daughter's erratic behavior over the past few years.

Amanda had stayed at a Malibu rehab facility and spent some time in the psych ward at UCLA Medical Center.
