Anderson's fireworks help NZ whitewash Bangladesh in T20 series

New Zealand all-rounder Corey Anderson smashed a 41-ball 94-run knock as his side crushed Bangladesh by 27 runs in the third Twenty20 at Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui on Sunday to sweep the three-match series 3-0.
Batting first, the Black Caps posted a mammoth score of 194 for four, thanks to Anderson, who besides hitting 10 massive sixes in his blistering knock, also shared a 124-run partnership for the fourth wicket with Kane Williamson (60).
In reply, Bangladesh, who had a decent opening stand of 44 runs, ultimately faded to a 27-run loss, managing only 167 for six in their stipulated 20 overs.
Bangladesh, who were whitewashed 6-0 in the limited-overs series, also suffered their 19th successive loss against the Black Caps in their New Zealand.
The two sides will now compete in a two-Test series starting January 12.
