Andrew Dettmann exits from 'Chicago Med' over creative differences

American series 'CSI' veteran Andrew Dettmann, who was set as showrunner on the upcoming spinoff series, will no longer be the part of American series 'Chicago Med', it has been reported.

According to sources, Dettmann, who will not continue as an executive producer on drama series, has decided to exit the American series because of creative differences, Deadline.com reports.

Sources added that Dettmann was the first showrunner outside the Chicago creative team comprises Dick Wolf, Matt Olmstead, Michael Brandt and Derek Haas, to be given a leadership role on the franchise.

The medical drama series, created by Dick Wolf and Matt Olmstead, also stars Oliver Platt, S. Epatha Merkerson, Nick Gehlfuss, Colin Donnell, Torrey DeVitto, , Brian Tee and Yaya Dacosta.
