Apple is reportedly mulling an event show, in October, to unveil its wearable device.
According to The Verge, the speculated wearable device will make use of Healthkit, which Apple unveiled earlier this week at its annual developer conference, to track all kind of health data from apps and fitness hardware.
Apple wants to produce 3 to 5 million devices every month, and is collaborating with Nike which recently trimmed its own efforts on the Fuelband fitness tracking hardware, the report said.
However, indications of Apple developing a wearable device surfaced 3 years back, in 2011, but until now Apple has not introduced any wearable device.
