Aretha Franklin gets honorary Harvard degree

Aretha Franklin on Thursday received an honorary degree from the Harvard University.
Franklin gave a starring rendition of the US national anthem before she received the honour at the university's annual commencement ceremony, the BBC reported.
University Provost Alan M Garber introduced the 18 time Grammy winner as "her regal highness, the Queen of Soul".
