Assam CM Sonowal to visit Silchar today

Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal will visit Silchar in southern Assam today.

During the visit, his first to the Barak Valley as Chief Minister, Sonowal will chair a meeting of deputy commissioners, superintendents of police and other senior officers of Cachar, Karimganj, Hailakandi and Dima Hasao districts at the Cachar in the morning.

Sonowal will address a meeting of eminent persons of Southern Assam in the afternoon.

He will also address BJP workers during the day, following which he will leave for Dispur on Thursday morning.
