Assam: Five KLO militants surrender arms

Five militants of the banned Kamatapur Liberation Organization (KLO) surrendered by depositing their arms and ammunitions in Assam's Kokrajhar district.

As per reports, the organizing secretary of the outfit, Hareswar alias Lal Deka and self-styled commander of the 1st battalion, Tiranga, were among those who surrendered last evening.

There was a reward of Rs five lakh rupees over the duo.
