Automobile mechanic builds chopper using SUV engine

Forty-year-old automobile mechanic Chanden Sharma has developed a helicopter using a Tata Sumo diesel engine in the remote Shyamjuli village in Assam's Dhemaji district.

Sharma has named his helicopter as 'Pawan Putra' to help the people of his village. He claims that his chopper can carry two people, 30-50 feet above the ground.

Sharma dreams that his son would become a pilot.
