The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLAs on Thursday thrashed an independent MLA Engineer Rashid in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly for hosting a beef party.
Rashid had yesterday reportedly hosted a 'beef party' at the MLA hostel.
The beef ban led to violent protests in Jammu and Kashmir earlier.
The Supreme Court has suspended the ban on beef for two months and constituted a three-judge bench to decide on the matter.
