'Bloody' Ben Affleck shows off 'phoenix tattoo'

Ben Affleck seems to have amused his fans by sporting a colorful tattoo of a phoenix on the set of his upcoming flick 'Live by Night.'

The 43-year-old actor, who sported a bloody, bruised and bandaged face, was dressed in a hospital gown that was opened in the back, revealing his enormous, colorful tattoo, E! Online reports.

It is unclear if the tattoo of the 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' actor is real or fake.

Notably, Affleck has real tattoos like barbed wire across one of his bicep and a dolphin on his lower back.

The upcoming American crime film, starring Sienna Miller, Chris Messina and Zoe Saldana, will hit the theaters in 2017.
