CBI arrests garrison engineer employee for accepting bribe

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday arrested Lt. Colonel J.S. Bath of Garrison Engineer and R.B. Chauhan, an assistant in Garrison engineer for accepting bribe for clearing pending bills of civil contractor.

As per the complainant, Lt. Colonel Bath accepted 30 gold coins and Chauhan accepted Rs. 50,000 as bribe.

Both were arrested from Bengaluru's Karwar region.
