Chandrababu Naidu calls on Uma Bharti

Chief Minister-designate of Andhra Pradesh N. Chandrababu Naidu called on Union Minister for Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation Uma Bharti here today.

Both the leaders discussed various issues concerning water resources and river Projects in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

With reference to a particular issue raised by Naidu, the Minister said "the Union Government will ensure that the interests of the people of both the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are duly taken care of.
