China: 2 children dead, 20 injured in stampede at elementary school

At least two children died and more than 20 others were injured during a stampede at an elementary school bathroom Wednesday in Central China's Henan Province.

The incident happened around 8:30 a.m. when a crowd of students began shoving to enter a bathroom at Puyang No. 3 experimental elementary school, the Xinhua News Agency reported.

The Puyang county government rushed the injured students to local hospitals for treatment.
