China fireworks factory death toll rises to 12

The death toll from Monday's explosion at a fireworks factory in the Liling area of China's Hunan Province has risen to twelve, while the injured toll is 33.

According to the BBC, the blast occurred at the Nanyang Export Fireworks Factory, and left surrounding areas scattered with debris and glass shards from broken windows of nearby houses.
