The BBC has announced that Chris Evans will be replacing Jeremy Clarkson as the new lead of a new 'Top Gear' line up.
Expressing his excitement, the 49-year-old TV presenter, who signed a three-year contract, claimed that he was thrilled, as the show was his favourite programme of all time, reports Stuff.co.nz.
Evans broke the news by tweeting, "First tweet as new Top Gear host. I would like to say Jeremy, Richard and James are the greatest. And NO I'm not leaving the R2 Breakfast Show."
Professional golfer Natasha Shishmanian's husband said that the show created by a host of brilliant minds who love cars and understand how to make the massively complicated come across as fun and effortless.
Sources claim that the production on the new series will start in the coming few weeks.
