Dainik Jagran group presents Rs.2.71 crore to PM's relief fund

The Dainik Jagran group today presented two demand drafts worth Rs 2.71 crore towards the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund.

The drafts were presented to Prime Minister Narendra Modi by Editor-in-Chief and CEO Sanjay Gupta.

Dainik Jagran is an Indian Hindi-language daily newspaper. As per Indian Readership Survey 2012, the Dainik Jagran is the most read newspaper in India with an average Issue Readership (AIR) of 16.37 million.

The newspaper was launched in 1942 in Jhansi during the Indian freedom struggle by Puran Chandra Gupta, a nationalist, to voice nationalistic sentiments.
