David Arquette's girlfriend Christina McLarty is pregnant with the couple's first child.

While confirming the news, a source close to the couple told Us Magazine that Courteney Cox's former hubby and his on-off girlfriend were trying to keep the pregnancy news private, but it came as a surprise.

The insider added that the couple is excited and happy even though the pregnancy was unexpected.

Arquette already has 9-year-old daughter, Coco, with Cox.
