Delhi Polls: Kejriwal leading over Congress rival Shiela Dikshit

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Arvind Kejriwal is leading by about 2,500 votes over

his Congress rival and incumbent Chief Minister Shiela Dikshit. The Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP's) Vijender Gupta is in third position in the three-way contest for the New delhi Assembly Constituency seat.

In the fifth round of the counting of votes for the Patparganj seat, Aam Aadmi Party's Manish Sisodia is ahead of his BJP rival by 5,000 votes.

In this constituency, 244 voters have exercised the None of the Above (NOTA) option finding none of the contestants worth voting.

In Krishnanagar constituency in East Delhi, the BJP's chief ministerial candidate Dr. Harsh Vardhan is leading BY 10,500 votes after the fourth round of counting of votes over his AAP candidate. Congress candidate Dr V K Moga is in third position.

 

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is leading over his Congress rivals from both Budhni and Vidisha seats.

Chouhan, who is seeking a record third straight term for the BJP in the state, is leading by 12,777 votes over his Congress rival Mahendra Singh Chouhan in Budhni, and is ahead by 2312 votes in Vidisha where Congress' Shashank Bhargava is trailing.

In Chattisgarh, the BJP and the Congress are locked in a keen contest. The BJP is leading in 44 of the 86 Assembly seats for which trends are available so far. The Congress is leading in 40. Others are leading in two seats.

Chief Minister Raman Singh is leading over his nearest Congress rival Alka Mudliar by about 3400 votes from Rajnandgaon.
