Two fresh cases of swine flu have been registered in the capital. According to reports, a 12-year old girl and 31-year-old woman have been infected with the virus.

Yesterday, two cases of swine flu were registered in the Sawai Man Singh Hospital in Jaipur.

The administration of the hospital came into action where special wards were opened and a special team of doctors was deputed to treat swine flu cases.

Additional Superintendent of the hospital, Ajit Singh, said that the two cases were registered within a week.

"This year two cases have been registered and we are providing them treatment and I hope that these two patients are cured soon," said Singh.

He also pointed out that the swine flu cases have declined. In 2013, 36 deaths were recorded while six deaths took place in 2014 in Jaipur.

"If we consider figures of 2014, there has been a decline in the number of swine flu cases and mortality. The spread of this disease has been controlled to a great extent," Singh added.

Children, elderly people and those suffering from respiratory problems are highly susceptible to the virus.
