Eddie Redmayne is in negotiations to star in 'Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them,' the prequel to the infamous 'Harry Potter' series.
The 33-year-old Oscar-winning star was Warner Bros' first choice to play Newt Scamander in J.K Rowling's book adaptation of the same name, and now since the author is done with her first screenplay, the offer has been extended, Deadline.com reported.
The film is based on a textbook used at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, written by Scamander, and takes place 70 years before the 'Harry Potter' plot.
The movie will have David Yates back at the helm with David Heyman producing.
