Elmarie Wendel dies at 89

Television's "Mrs. Dubcek" Elmarie Wendel passed away at the age of 89.

The news was confirmed by Wendel's daughter, Jennifer "J.C." Wendel via social media, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The 89-year-old was best known for her portrayal of Mrs Dubcek on popular American sitcom '3rd Rock From the Sun'

She also appeared in a number of other projects, including Seinfeld, Love & War, Murphy Brown, Murder, She Wrote, and Empty Nest.

Elmarie was last seen donning the role of Gina, an assembly line worker at an aviation factory, on a sitcom titled George Lopez.
