Facebook users will now be notified when music events will be held in nearby areas

Facebook has introduced a new Events subscribe button to the Events section of all Pages wherein users will get a notification when the Page hosts any event in the nearby areas of the user.

According to TechCrunch, the new feature can help music bands sell more tickets for concerts.

Local businesses that run events or promotions, sports teams, and more will also benefit from the new feature.

Users can see the Events subscribe button above on the desktop Events tab and in the bottom on mobile applications.
