Following a year-long slowdown in his career, tennis star Roger Federer has reportedly got back to the United States Open quarterfinals for the 19th time 11 years with a 6-4, 6-3, 6-2 victory over Roberto Bautista Agut of Spain.
After having settled on a new racket with a larger head, he has managed to regain his health and vigor and has pushed forward to spring back into the game at Flushing Meadows on Tuesday night, reported Stuff.co.nz.
While recalling that the last year required him to cut back on his fitness regime, the 33-year-old added that he is happy that he doesn't have to face any more setbacks. Federer said that he has regained his confidence.
