Ferrari chief Sergio Marchionne has advocated the idea of bringing back 'refuelling' methods despite opposition from the rival teams.
The teams had earlier ruled out this proposal following an investigation into refuelling returning, saying that it would have a negative impact on the game.
Marchionne said that although he does want it to return, he would reconsider if the findings were definitive, the BBC reported.
In an attempt to revamp the game, Marchionne suggested that refuelling might be the answer if combined with other possible changes such as freeing up tyre choice.
