Former Apple employee accused of stealing self-driving car secrets

A former Apple employee has been charged for allegedly stealing the company's trade secrets in relation with the self-driving vehicle project.
The employee, Xiaolang Zhang, worked on the autonomous car project and left the company to work for a Chinese electric vehicle company called Xpeng Motors where he allegedly took over 40 GB of Apple's intellectual property data, Wired reported.
Zhang claimed to have taken home a Linux server and the data it contained for his own education so as to secure a job within Apple.
