Pakistan fast bowler Umar Gul admitted that he is confident enough to make a strong comeback into the national side, after being out of action due to a recurring knee injury.

Gul, who has been included in both the T20 and ODI series against New Zealand, said that he feels physically fit now and doesn't have any concerns regarding his knee as he was able to bowl for long spells in domestic cricket.

He further said that playing again in competitive matches has boosted his morale and helped him realize that he can bowl long spells once again, the Express Tribune reported.

Aiming 2015 World Cup, he said that his focus is to find his rhythm back in international cricket before the World Cup kick starts, adding that he would like to be at his peak before the big tournament starts.

The pace bowler Gul's last ODI appearance came in the Asia Cup against Sri Lanka back in March.
