Director General of Police (DGP) Y.P. Singhal on Monday said that Haryana Chef Minister Manohar Lal Khattar is reviewing the brutal rape and murder case of a mentally challenged Nepalese woman in Rohtak on a daily basis.

"Haryana Chief Minister is reviewing this case and is also worried about this case," Singhal told the media here.

"The facts claim that their motive was sexual offence. But we will find for sure what the motive was after a thorough investigation. To solve this case, the Haryana Police is putting every effort," he added.

The Haryana Women Commission has decided to recommend death penalty for the perpetrators of the heinous crime.

Kamlesh Panchal, the chairperson of Haryana Women Commission, visited the victim's family and said that she would demand exemplary punishment for the perpetrators. Panchal assured the family members that the commission has taken note of this issue and will demand that the accused be nabbed at the earliest, tried and hanged.

According to reports, some unidentified men raped the 28-year-old before brutally killing her in Bahu Akbarpur area of Haryana's Rohtak district.

The woman's body was reportedly found on Wednesday three days after she went missing with key organs missing and with sticks, stones and condoms stuffed into her private parts.
