Reigning Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton, who is also an avid tattoo lover, revealed that each image on his body has a meaning to it.
The Mercedes driver said that he was very strong in his faith, and therefore he wanted to have some religious images. He added that he has got Pieta, a Michelangelo sculpture of Mary holding Jesus after he came off the cross, on his shoulder, the Mirror reported.
Hamilton, who posed topless for the latest edition of Men's Health magazine, further said he has a sacred heart on his arm and musical notes due to his love for music.
Hamilton maintained that the compass on his chest is there because church is his compass, insisting that family is everything for him, and therefore he has 'family' written on the top, across his shoulders.
Hamilton is currently leading the 2015 Drivers' Championship after he finished first and second at Australian and Malaysian Grand Prix respectively.
