Idris Elba is in final negotiations to voice star as man-eating tiger Shere Khan in Disney's upcoming film 'Jungle Book'.
The film, which Jon Favreau's take on Rudyard Kipling's classic tale, is being made as a live-action/computer-generated hybrid, with most of the animals being CG creations and voiced by actors, the Hollywood Reporter reported.
The studio is also looking for an actor of mixed race to play the part of Mowgli, while Warner Bros. is in talks with Ron Howard in talks to direct the project.
