Imran Khan's nomination papers challenged

Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan's nomination papers, filed from NA-243 Karachi, were challenged on Tuesday.

According to Geo News, Citizen filed an appeal against Imran Khan's candidature with a returning over the Sita White case.

The PTI chief's lawyer, appeared before court for the case. Ismail said he had received a copy of the appeal and asked for some time for cross-examination.

Ismail informed the court that was in to perform Umrah and will return to on June 18. Hence, he can be questioned on June 19 about the same.

The court ordered Ismail to file a request for an extension to submit a respond.

The verdict on the petition filed against Imran's candidature will be announced on June 19.
