Instagram set to make 'Explore' more intimate

Instagram is taking some steps to make its 'Explore' section more personal, giving users more of what they like.

According to The Verge, earlier users were loaded with photos of food and selfies of people they don't even know, but now users get more of people they follow and like.

However, Instagram's customized list is somewhat pointless and it is not clear why Instagram shows so much 'random' pictures.
